Taneka Johnson

Ms. Johnson has been a member of Local 237 for almost 3 years.  Her accomplishments were highlighted in the last issue of Newsline, Winter 2018.  

Being a member of the union makes Ms. Johnson feel safe. She said, “If you have an issue, someone will hear you out. If you voice concerns, someone will back you up.”           
                                                                                                                                       
Ms. Johnson feels she can be understanding and patient with individuals. And, when she can be a help to someone, it makes her feel good. Ms. Johnson likes to spend time with her family. Her 19-year old daughter is taking after her mother and studying criminology.
