CIVIC CENTER — Two school safety officers at Murry Bergtraum High School for Business Careers were injured Wednesday morning, an FDNY spokesman said.

The two officers were hurt after an incident about 11:30 a.m. and were rushed to New York Downtown Hospital, the spokesman said.

The injuries did not appear to be serious, he added.

The details of the incident that led to the injuries were not immediately known, officials said.

Murry Bergtraum H.S., which is across the street from One Police Plaza and just blocks away from City Hall, is one of the most crowded high schools in the city and, according to advocates, has been plagued by problems.

Just over a month ago, four students were taken into custody for attempted arson

And in March, school safety officers struggled to contain a massive brawl involving dozens of students.
