Shooting in front of Brooklyn school for troubled teens
A 17-year-old boy took a bullet to the stomach in front of a Brooklyn charter school Thursday afternoon, police said.
Gunfire rang out outside the Urban Dove charter school on East 21st Street in East Midwood around 2:45 p.m., according to police.
The teenager, who was struck in the stomach and the hand, was taken to Kings County Hospital and expected to survive, police said.
Two unknown males were seen fleeing the scene, cops said.
Police were unable to say if the victim was a student at the school.
