The Education Fund's certification courses are created in conjunction with participating agencies.  Courses combine classroom discussion with hands-on training, resulting in a well-rounded candidate who will graduate with a technical training certificate.

Heating Plant Technician Certificate Course
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Required*

The Education Department will be starting a Fundamentals of Heating Plant Operations Course in early 2023.  This course is open to any Housing Caretaker or Emergency Service Aide who qualifies.

You must first take and Pass Qualifying Entrance Exam. Register for the HPT Entrance Exam
