Plasterer Graduates
For the first time in nearly 20 years, members graduated upon receiving formal “classroom” instruction to learn the public housing plasterer trade. Instructor Ray Hall had two plasterers each day of the week while six were in the field at locations working with the other instructors. Carl Giles, Director of Local 237’s Public Housing Division said: “Our members now have the know-how and expertise required in a very specialized skill profession, which only those who have mastered the trade themselves can adequately impart to others. I congratulate the graduates and thank their instructors.”
