Mr. Brown, who works at Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel, has been a member of Local 237 for one year and a shop steward for 6 months. He finds it comforting that his reps are just a phone call away and say the union provides, “awesome security that one doesn’t get often”.

The people are the best part of the job. He has great conversations with union staff, and says they put their all in working with the members. One of Mr. Brown’s hobbies is music production, which he did professionally in the past. He has worked with music artists T-Pain, Beanie Sigel and 50 Cent. Mr. Brown has a son and a daughter.
