Ms. Knox has been a member of Local 237 for over 6 years and is a Shop Steward and Safety Associate.   
                                                                                                                                              
Ms. Knox is a proud Local 237 member and feels a part of something bigger.  She is gratified by all the great things the union does for its members, more than other city worker union, and explains, “There is safety in having the union stand behind you.” 

NYCHA allows her to expand and “does not put you in a box”. Her job allows her opportunities like being shop steward and part of the employee engagement process. Ms. Knox loves reading and attends City College, where she is working on a degree in public administration. She enjoys spending time with family.
