If you are a DOE employee and you are an older adult and/or have underlying medical condition(s) that create an increased risk of severe illness should you contract COVID-19, you may be eligible for a reasonable accommodation to work remotely for the start of the school year. Note that employees with essential functions who cannot do their work remotely may not qualify for an accommodation.

If you would like to request such an accommodation, please use the Self-Service Online Leave Application System.

If you are a Central employee and you wish to apply, you should make your application only when and if you are asked to return to in-person work.
