He has been an officer at Harlem Hospital for over 10 years and he is the Shop steward at the hospital. His Business Agent Kangela Moore was elated to see him at work after he recovered from a brief illness. He was asked what can you tell someone that is going through a medical situation? He is dedicated to his job and as a Shop Steward is always there for his members to keep them informed of all activities with Local 237. Officer Pepe Ramos has been our shop steward at Queens General Hospital for 4 years and continues to be a great bridge between the members at his location and the union hall.

As a member of over 14 years, Roslyn is known for fighting for equality in her location since October 2023.

Dashawn Hightower, Shop Steward and Safety Associate at Clermont Houses, has identified rat issues affecting the residents in a particular building. His efforts helped to get the tenants into a temporary location.
