Ms. Ordonez became a member of Local 237 in 2011.  She started as a Food Service Worker in the Brentwood School District.  Currently, she is a Lead Food Service Worker and a member of the negotiating committee.

Ms. Ordonez loves her job:  the children and her co-workers.  She works in the Kindergarten Center and doesn’t mind “getting her hands dirty.” The proud mother of two sons, her eldest, Christopher Lemus is 21 and works, her youngest, Anthony Ordonez, is 12 and keeps her busy in her time outside of work.  He plays baseball and football and weekdays are filled with practice and the weekends with games.  Her husband Jose Ordonez owns his own business.
