Mr. Morrison has been a member of Local 237 for over 20 years as a School Safety Agent in Manhattan North.  He says that “The Union is family – it is life, it is dignity.”

Agent Morrison credits Commanding Officer Naomi Aice, SSA Phil Corley, SSA III Yvonne and SSA III Rebecca Newton-Lemon for being role models. Known in the community as Brother Tahir, he is active in organizations that focus on community safety and peace.  He is part of the Brooklyn Peacekeepers and the Brooklyn United Organization, which has provided non-perishable foods to the residents of the Brownsville Houses (NYCHA).

He received a citation from Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams for his involvement in organizing the 2nd Annual National Day of Non-Violence in 2016.

Mr. Morrison is the proud father of daughter, Nyliah Kianna and is married to his High School sweetheart, Dionne.
