I remember there was a guy, his last name wasValley. I went to this place to fix my car and I had this feeling this guy was cheating me. So, I said to Valley: What shouldI do? He told me where to go and I did business with them for a long time. The guys were friendly.I was friendly witheveryone except my secretary. I didn't have any problems; she was the only one. She was the personality. So, you haven't stayed in touch with anybody that you worked with? No, but when I left, they made a party. I went there and that was that. And later on, I met some of the people in thestreet and they were friendly to me. They recognized me.As a retiree, have you met any people here that you've become friendly with?Oh yeah. If they have an event here, they'll say what time you going to be there, who's coming, save a seat, I'm sitting next to Carol, she'll come sit next to me. So we all know one another. How is this one? She's in the nursing home, why? We all exchange information. The one that I'm most friendly with is Lucille. She's not here today, but she will callme and tell me, I have this paper for you. I said hold it or I'll have something for her. Or if I have a special event and mydaughter can't use the ticket, I'll say Lucille come with me, you know. You actually spend some time with her, outside of union now and again.Yeah, I have people.I go to my senior center connected with the co-op and see the people there. I know a lot of peopleby sight: hello, how are you. We chat when I go to this class, hello, how are you. So, I know the people. Once a year wehold a building party and people bring food. I joined them because somebody else told me about it. After, we became very friendly. Even though I was single and I used to go withsomebody else, they would incorporate me in their group. One of the ladies sent me a Christmas card from the group. I don't travel anymore. But they were very friendly to me. The first time I traveled was in 1951, 1952 to Bermuda. They said that's a good place to go for your honeymoon but don't go there, it's quiet, too quiet. You traveled with your husband? No, no. My husband died and then I traveled. When I married him, we went to Havana, Cuba.
